Mardles: Under the Sea stickers and Stanley the Seahorse book

Last month I had the opportunity to try out Mardles for the first time with my children and I was happy to be given the chance to review more!

We were sent two underwater themed items (which is perfect as this is the topic Matthew is covering at school this term so he was able to help Anya and Zach with lots of ‘interesting’ facts).

The stickers pack contains 12 stickers, 2 of each design. Anya was delighted to have a mermaid while I enjoyed the graphics of the Ollie the Octopus best.

The book was great fun to read with the children. It has a rhyming text and bright colourful pictures. The pages that ‘come to life’ are really interesting and I preferred these to the stickers as there was a whole scene to move the character around in so it seemed more interactive.

Both the stickers and the book produce music or sound effects for the different characters and scenes which adds another sense to the play experience.

The app was already installed on my Kindle so the children could get straight on with bringing the characters to life. The app is free! There are no in-app purchases and no internet connection is required.
Mardles have a range of different characters to suit the many different interests of children: take a look at their website here.

*I was sent the book and stickers for the purpose of this post.
