You might be fed up with pics of my engagement ring by now, but I will never get bored of looking at it! I chose the ring myself and I think it is perfect.
The stone in the centre is tanzanite which is a gemstone from Tanzania that was only discovered in the 1960s and is a thousand times rarer than diamond. It is the most beautiful blue-purple colour. It is also the birthstone for December which is Chris’ birthday month (not sure he knew that!). The tanzanite is surrounded by diamonds and set in sterling silver.
Now I hate to disappoint you but Chris did not spend 2 month’s wages on the ring. We have more important things to spend our money on and I would have been terrified of wearing something so expensive! I am however looking for earrings and a necklace to match…
