My very own website!!! Yikes!

#Project366 2020 week 19

Day 124: our first walk in ages and a very muddy one! All the trainers has to go in the wash afterwards!

Day 125: starting the week with a home learning task that Matthew loved, and as soon as I read the email from the school, I knew he would design a dinosaur!

Day 126: making a bolognese and this time Matthew and Anya BOTH helped!

Day 127: picking daisies in the sun

Day 128: finally our beans are starting to flourish! We used toilet rolls as biodegradeable seed starters

Day 129: VE day, bank holiday Friday, and what better way to start off than a vegan gluten free strawberry cake with mock cream from a WW2 recipe!

Day 130: I have finally succumbed to the hot weather and unearthed my t shirts! Of course, the forecast is due to change…

  1. Your cake and cream looks delicious! The photo of the three kids walking is beautiful. I wear Tshirts all year round – I just wear more layers on top of them! I have dug my vest tops out for summer now though. It looks like I might not be wearing them as soon as I’d hoped!

  2. Ahh! It’s good when you get a task from school that you know the kids will love. The dinosaur looks fab!
That is such a good idea using the toilet rolls on your beans. I should have done that with my peas!
    Fab photos x

  3. The strawberry cake looks tasty! The weather has changed here, from a very hot Saturday to a rather cold rainy Sunday.
We had a walk outside town as well, and came home with very muddy shoes.
The dinosaur in Matthew’s drawing looks ferocious. We love Bolognese, though I haven’t cooked it for ages, must remedy that.
Your seedlings are doing well. Hope you have a nice crop later in the summer.

  4. Ahh lovely to see some sunny days 🙂 The walk looks lovely, and well worth the muddy trainers ! Love the cooking too – great idea to get the kids involved and the WW2 recipe looks delicious 🙂
