Once upon a time there was a little girl who liked sponge fingers. She ate a lot, maybe a packet a month (having to wait for her parents to buy more!) Then the poor little girl started getting spots all over her body: dreadful news she had developed an allergy to wheat! So the little girl had to stop eating sponge fingers (and many other things 🙁 )
Fifteen years later, the little girl was now a little woman (tall I am not) and at her third child’s first birthday party some very thoughtful friends had made a tiramisu. Not just any tiramisu. A wheat free vegetarian one. The little woman had never had tiramisu before. There were some left-over sponge fingers which the lovely friends had brought along for the little woman to finish up. So she did.
And they were yummy. So they all lived happily ever after…
