Matthew’s teacher chose him to receive a certificate in this week’s celebration assembly for ‘striving to do his best at all times’. The letter was sent home a week ago and it instructed me not to tell Matt that he had been chosen and to attend the assembly secretly. I told him I was working at the infants and had to take my camera to get some blog photos on the way home.
He suspected nothing! Sneaky Mummy!
I was very proud of him going up to receive his award but he looked so serious that the pics of him all look grumpy!
I foolishly decided not to get a photo of Matthew at the school assembly with his certificate and trusted him to bring it home safely. It was completely scrunched up in his bag when he arrived home 🙁
