My very own website!!! Yikes!

OK, so Isle of Wight holiday is booked…where to visit?

Looking for some advice today chaps:

Where are the best places to visit on the Isle of Wight in July?

I have been on TripAdviser and got about a million ideas. We are going for 7 days. Here are my top 15 (in no particular order) but how can I narrow them down?!

1. Osborne House
2. Blackgang Chine
3. Godshill Model Village
4. Monkey Haven
5. Steam railway
6. Carisbrooke Castle
7. Dinosaur Isle
8. Butterfly World
9. Zoo
10. Roman Villa (there are a couple)
11. St Catherine’s Lighthouse
12. Fort Victoria Model Railway
13. Needles
14. Yarmouth Castle
15. Beaches ( I really want to go fossil hunting…)

Any advice welcome! We will have a 1, 4, and 7 year old at the time which may affect your recommendations. What will only take a couple of hours so can be combined with another? What can ONLY be done on a nice day versus what is ok if wet?

And then I can start panicking about food…

  1. You’ll have an amazing time. We went a couple of times when the girls were little and I think we did Dinosaur Isle with them (can’t remember if that’s what it was called, but it was all things dinosaur) they loved it! #MMBC x

  2. I haven’t been to the Isle of Wight for so many years but I remember the Blackgang Chine really well, so that’s a must. I also remember the model village. I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time.

  4. Hello, i saw this on Aby’s Linkylink and i thought i have recently been at the Isle of Wight festival and also visited Osborne House, which was worth the visit. We were there only for a weekend though so less time than you but it did seem a nice place to be and lots of lovely beaches. Enjoy!
