My very own website!!! Yikes!

5 funny little things about…

I was tagged by Lily’s Little Learners to take part in the 5 funny little things about… I’ve decided to think about all 3 children separately!

Zach

  1. Zach claps himself all the time. Every time I call him a good boy he bursts into applause for himself.
  2. Zach is very clingy for the first 30 minutes or so of any visit but then calms down and goes off without a backward glance!
  3. Zach chatters away a lot! I suppose he has to compete with the older two…
  4. Zach is an emptyer and arranger. Cupboards, drawers, everything gets scattered and then neatly arranged in a line.
  5. Zach can’t talk (apart from ‘doo’ for poo) but he can sing. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or Let It Go are the only songs in his repertoire…

Anya

  1. Anya is a mix of tomboy and princess. She loves rough and tumble play with her brothers but when we have girly time together she want to play ponies or do make up.
  2. Anya is very competitive, she wants to be a grown up or at least older like her big brother.
  3. Anya has this devilish streak and what I call a gremlin grin. She is certainly the naughtiest of the 3…
  4. Anya is fearless and confident. So unlike me and Matthew, and I really hope she stays like this for the rest of her life.
  5. Anya sings Let It Go at the top of her voice. A LOT. She also gets many of the words wrong…

Matthew

  1. Matthew uses the word ‘ultimately’ all the time! This is ultimately the best game ever etc.
  2. And he often starts a sentence with ‘can I tell you something?’ and then gets on with it without waiting for a reply πŸ™‚
  3. Matthew keeps me on time. If I say I’ll do something in a minute then he will ‘helpfully’ count down exactly 60 seconds…
  4. Matthew is very over excitable about games and tells me about them in GREAT detail! He talks non stop and I feel exhausted just listening to him!
  5. Matthew bounces, hops, jiggles, fidgets, runs, skips. He just can’t sit still. EVER!
Thanks again to Lily’s Little Learners for the tag. I now tag the following mummies to tell me about their children’s funny little things: Mummy Gummie, Mrs Mummy Harris, Jaki Jellz, Twin Mummy and Daddy and Sophie’s Nursery.

  1. This is lovely, it’s funny how different siblings can be. I was surprised at how different from one another my older two boys are, so it makes me excited to find out who my newborn will grow into being.

  2. What a darling post, it has certainly out a smile on my face from, Zach’s organisation skills, to Anya little sassy streak to Matthew’s favourite word! ULTIMATELY a fab post.

  3. Aww this is so nice and I’m glad you done all 3 of your children. It’s lovely to see they have their own personalities my little one is always fidgiting like Matthew, can’t sit still.

  4. Your Matthew sounds like my Conner. Especially when it comes to video games. He can talk a mile a minute and goes into great detail about every little thing. In Minecraft he has to show me everything that he builds along with every step he took to build it, lol. It’s exhausting but funny at the same time.

  5. Emma

Ah it’s wonderful when children show their own personality isn’t it? It sounds like you’ve got three wonderful children with totally individual and unique personality traits x

  6. Aww lovely! Your kids are adorable! My youngest (now 2) also does the clapping thing. And Twinkle Twinkle Little Star was her only song until recently! πŸ˜€
