Having bought lemons and already made a lemon and blueberry tray bake, I then decided to make a savoury dish. Voila: Lemon and garlic mushroom pasta!
I once heard that pasta sauces should be made in the time it takes to cook the pasta so mission accepted! The lemon and garlic sauce is ready in just 10 minutes 🙂 and with this much garlic you’ll be safe on Halloween!
This recipe will serve 1-2 depending on appetite.
150g pasta
1 tablespoon oil
1 small onion
6-7 mushrooms
3 cloves garlic
juice of 1 lemon
Cook the pasta according to instructions on packet.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion until translucent.
Add the mushrooms and garlic to the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add the lemon juice and stir to mix.
Drain the pasta and mix with the sauce.
Serve your lemon and garlic mushroom pasta and don’t breathe near vampires!
