My very own website!!! Yikes!

#Project365 2021 week 20

Day 136: freedom! My self isolation is over and it was good to be able to leave the house for a run!

Day 137: back to work. Took the ants back and felt really sad! They had spent a week above my desk and were totally captivating

Day 138: rainbow! Can you believe May’s weather?! This whole week has been a washout, brrrrr! Can you spot the second arc?
Day 139: my first ever Pilates class. I’m debating whether to join my colleagues in person next week…

Day 140: we were invited to try out an online tuition platform so Matthew has been working with TuitionWorks to support his Maths
Day 141: Matthew again! He is walking up to the secondary school with his friends to gain confidence and this week we gave the boys some money to visit the shop as Matt has never bought anything on his own before. This was also the first time he was allowed a key!

Day 142: I finally got my covid vaccine!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. Yay to the vaccine. It’s always good to see everyone getting them. I need to start sending N into the shop to buy stuff. Because we’re in the middle of nowhere, you have to drive to the shops, and to go anywhere really. I’d let him cycle to his friend’s house, but the OH won’t. It’s only 1/2 mile down a straight road!

  2. Hooray for getting through your self isolation. I bet it was good to leave the house.
What a pretty rainbow. I am sick of this weather too. Come on summer.
The online tuition platform sounds useful, especially with kids being away from school so much this year.
How exciting for Matthew to have a bit of independence. They grow up so quickly.
I hope you are OK after your Covid vaccine. x

  3. So glad you are out of self-isolation and able to get out for a run again and have had your vaccine. Hope that you didn’t have too many side effects. Walking to school on your own and being allowed a key is quite a milestone. Lovely photo of the rainbow – I did manage to spot the second arc. The weather has been miserable this month though hasn’t it? Hopefully we’ll get some sunshine again soon! #project365

  5. Matthew looks so pleased with himself with a key, well done to him. Glad you’ve started the jabs going, yes I can see the 2nd rainbow arc. I’d be apprehensive of the ants escaping

  6. Glad to hear you are out of isolation, I’m not sure I could cope with the ants. Yay for the vaccine and also Matthew getting a key. What a grown up moment. I am so over the May weather.

  7. Yay for your covid vaccine. I don’t know how I would feel having ants about my desk lol. Moving up to high school is such a big step. We are in a very different place with our 11-year-old son but I can’t imagine taking these steps with my 11-year-old daughter when her time comes #365
